SartorX

Privacy Policy for SartorX

Effective date: October 11, 2026

SartorX (“the app”) is an iPhone app that converts a photo to the format, pixel size and file size that an upload form requires. The app is published by Cem Cakmakci (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Summary

Photos and files

All processing happens on your iPhone. This includes converting, resizing, compressing, cropping, finding the people in a photo to place the crop, removing a background, removing metadata and reading text from a scan. The app reads your photos and their metadata only to do the work you ask for. We do not receive any of it. The app has no server of its own and uploads nothing.

The app asks for only the access it needs:

Results have their location and camera data removed unless you turn off “Remove location & camera data”. With it off, the file keeps that data wherever you save or share it.

Data kept on your iPhone

The app keeps a few settings between launches. They are stored on your iPhone, in storage that only SartorX and its share extension can use:

The app does not keep your photos, copies of them, thumbnails or file names. A few files exist on your iPhone for a short time only, and are deleted automatically:

This data stays on your iPhone and is under your control. We do not have access to it. We do not send it anywhere. You can clear your history, or delete a single entry, in the app. Deleting the app removes all of this data.

Backups

We do not make or keep backups of your data. If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or a computer, SartorX’s settings above may be included in that backup. iOS does this under your control, not us, and we cannot access that backup. The app does not use iCloud to sync anything.

Share extension

SartorX has a share extension, so you can send photos to it from other apps. It works the same way as the app. It runs on your iPhone and shares the settings above with the app. It makes no network connections of its own. It can add a result to your photo library only with add-only access.

Purchases

The app has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. It does not create an account. We see only the aggregate download reports that Apple provides to developers. If any of this changes, this policy will be updated first.

Network use

The app and its share extension make no network connections of their own.

Tracking, analytics and third parties

The app does not track you. It contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash-reporting tools and no third-party software development kits (SDKs). It does not create or use identifiers to identify you or your device.

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone’s settings, Apple may show us aggregated, anonymous usage and crash data. It does not identify you. You can turn this off in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

The app links to this policy, to its support page and to Apple’s standard Terms of Use. They open in Safari, outside the app. Those web pages are not part of the app. Like any website, their hosts may keep ordinary server logs of visits, such as IP addresses. We do not use these pages for analytics.

Your choices

You can withdraw camera or Photos access at any time in Settings > Apps > SartorX.

Children

The app is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. If you live in a region with data-protection law, such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Turkey (KVKK) or California, you keep every right that law gives you, including the right to ask us what data we hold about you and the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. You can contact us at any time.

Security

Your photos and files stay on your iPhone, so your device’s own security protects them. The app does not send them across a network.
